Thats MON for ya, the next United manager, no doubt about it..
This is the league table since he took over Sunderland:
What a man.
Thats MON for ya, the next United manager, no doubt about it..
IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE A BIT OF BANTER, THEN BUILD A BRIDGE & GET THE FUCK OVER IT!
They have been saying that for years he would take over at Man U but when the big clubs do get rid of the manager suddenly no one want to take him but then he goes to sunderland and will make them the team that no fucker wants to play. Yet muppets like Mancini are at clubs with pockets that go for ever.

I'm not sure he'd fit Utd. The Villans on here are free to prove me wrong but isn't his style very much kick and rush? and I can't remember him experiencing much, if any, Champs League football. And his use of transfer fees is very questionable. I personally would welcome him if it ever happened, though I reckon he's more fitted for average-good teams.
I think that he deals with what he has i wouldnt class him as being a kick and rush because sunderland have not been playing that they can move around. I think that if he was given money to properly add quality where needed he could do wonders but he is always is dealing with teams where he has to work around things.
Villa: Brought in downing for 12 and villa sold him for 20 he brought in ashley young for 8 and he was sold for like 15-20mill. No one thought downing could do it anymore when he went down with borough and we hadnt seen much of young when villa signed him, he is like ferge in a sense that he will sign players you not so sure about and make great layers out of them.
Example: When fergie signed valencia from wigan i will gladly admit i wasnt convinced by it i thought it was an iffy move bringing him in to replace ronaldo but it worked.
Signings made for Sunderland: Kyriakos ok not amazing but that cover for the back where in recent weeks they did look light on the gorund and wayne bridge great signing considering that the next best left back at sunderland is kieran richardson (woeful no matter where he plays).
All of this is done on a relative budget think what he could do with some money he wont take premadonna pussies like fergie and can make them believe they can do anything and that is the difference. For me that is the difference between Fergie and Wenger and why ferige has been more sucessful.

Some fair points there. The thing is he's been successful with his style of play for years and I'm not convinced hiring him when he's not entirely comfortable with the 'Utd way' would be the best thing for anyone. With MON, he's made some cracking deals but some huge over-priced failures as I'm sure his former locals here will point out. At this point I reckon the only candidates Sir Bobby, Fergie and others on the board would take in a heartbeat are Jose (even that's a stretch given Charlton dislikes him!) or Pep, and in the future there's Ole who might be in with a shout.
Yea but none of them are going to take it right now:
a) jose wont let himself fail at madrid and will stay for a bit (plus im not sure they will offer him it)
b) pep is manager of the best team on the planet would he leave them to take over a united side needing a lot of work done to it
c) ole for me at some point will be in with a shout but no way in hell will he get the nod now when fergie retires or dies
Another one id love to see get a crack at a big club is moyes that man has worked miracles at everton with nothing to work with.

Great manager but no thanks, I've always had huge respect for Martin O'Neill but he is what I consider a track suit manager.
Track suit managers don't manage Manchester United, we need a manager who is going to command respect around the club and is going to step into Sir Alex's shoes and be more then happy to stand up and be counted.
Martin O'Neill manages average teams well.
Fergie will still be around for another 15! Nah Jose will either have got bored at Madrid or be driven out (either is very likely). As for Moyes, i've never really got the hype. His teams play shit on a stick football, he's tactically naive (from what i've read from the odd everton fan) and despite always having good players they always linger around relegation before coming to life in the new year-spring. Obviously there are a load of positives that he must be applauded for, though the stuff I listed above doesn't inspire confidence into me.
