Apparently the Real Madrid following haven't taken to him & even though the great player has scored around 10 million goals for the club the Real Madrid support are starting to turn on him especially after his poor performance in the last El Classico. The hate mail now out-weighs the fan mail.

He still has close ties with Sir Alex but i don't think even United could afford his wages so my money would be on Man City if he does decide to return.

Its not just barca if you remember when he played for united he very rarely put in a top clas performance against a top class side. People will say well he scored in the CL final against chel but he missed the penalty when they needed him.

I just feel he isnt good enough when the players in the opposition are as good as he is he just doesnt perform and thats possibly what the real fans are seeing.

Well while i dont think he is a as good a player as people say he is or even he think he is, the marketability he brings is unquestioned so that has a bearing its like beckham who ever has him on the book will sell millions of shirts in asia simple as that and real will be very reluctant to let go of that.

Well he went for 80 and with the money his face makes madrid and the fact he isnt performing that badly i dont think they would even talk for less than they payed themselves.

madrid are all about the money they can make from their players that why i think they would be against selling on the cheap unless the fans really wanted his head then maybe 35-40

I just look back to the great wins you had over milan and barca and he never did anything of note really he doesnt seem to step up and i put that down to what you said about not being a team player. Saying all that stu, United missed him terribly when he went. They looked half the team from the season before.

Oh dont get me wrong the guy can play is rightly one of the best in the world and players like that are always had to replace but i dont think he has the work ethic to ever be considered the best.
