Bent or Defoe

if u had to chose one striker for ur club
which one would u chose

I cant see why Spurs will be willing to let defoe leavefor as much as 10-12m & buy instead Bent for as much as 17 million

personally i actually prefer defoe, especially that he has proved he can score at high level at spurs when given the chance to play
bent has yet to be tested at highest level, he is a poucher, a box striker, which spurs have in keane, even berbatov, whereas defoe offers different style he can play on the wing
it is also reported that liverpool might be interested in Defoe, should spurs sign Bent
looks like liverpool are linked to a host of players, but have yet to enter the market
torres, mancini, simao, the list goes on

Defoe is wank - and shouldn't be allowed near the England squad.

I would love get Defoe back to West Ham but many hammer fans wont.....I pick Bent of course......I think Spurs will keep berbatov, keane, defoe and bent....Mido go.:

Defoe wants to stay, but may be driven out.

I'd say Defoe over Bent for the time being but who knows how well Bent will perform.

Defoe won't want to be forth choice striker. He'd never get a game.

Mido might well be happy to stay forth choice. Interestingly that young lad (22 actually) hasn't been allowed to go on loan. Mmmmm.

I would go for Bent, however, I feel he needs to prove fully what he can do playing with a better squad.

Bent ~ Only scores cause lets face it Charltons other strike force was crap, have a look at Marcus Bent, a has bin from EFC.

Defoe ~ I think is looking good, however he needs regular football plus a few good perfomances in a row, will he do that in the premiership?

Exactly. We are buying him because he scores goals, because if I'm not mistaken, thats the aim of the game? A crap team has nothing to do with it, he scored against teams like Chelsea, playing for whoever means nish.
