7 Days and counting

Until the start of the season, its been a fairly long summer break in the sense that nothing has filled in the gap other than boring tennis or F1. But this time next week we will all be looking forward to sitting down at our clubs and cheering them on for the first games of the season.

Hopefully it will be an action packed start with plenty of goals and talking points. The game of the day for me will be the early kick off, between Sunderland and Spurs. Can Sunderland cause an early upset? Anyway 7 days and counting!!!

Also the lower leagues start at the same time this year round, usually they start a week early for some reason, but not this season. So the whole English seasons kick off on the same day. Not the same times though as there are early kick offs and later ones. But the wait is nearly over.

Any team can destroy any team on a good day. I don't rate West Ham at all this season. We'll have to wait and see. Looking forward to watching MOTD next Saturday!!

Yeah going to be great having football back on, I wonder if the Middlesbrough game will be last on MOTD as it usually is.
