Bruce leaves Birmingham for Wigan

So Bruce has gone back to Wigan this his is second time since 2001 when he spent a brief time there. Wigan will pay £3m in compensation to Birmingham, and Bruce will reportedly earn £2m a year with his new side, Good move for him will Wigan stay up there 19th at the moe, what do you think

I have to gather that financially its a good move for him. Plus his doesn't have worry about a takeover and loosing his job (like at Birmingham).

Now, even if it's only by 3 points, moving for 15th placed side to a 19th doesn't make too much sense.

I dunno, he's not done that good in the Premiership with Birmingham and Wigan are worse, its going to be tough. I don't think he'll be able to keep them up.

There's been a "shock" problem - he's not signed - bit of a mystery.

a mystery indeed. All they are saying it's an issue that has got to be resolved between Birmingham and Steve. Maybe Steve wants his #2 to come with him

Bham fans at work are driving me nuts about this!

Apparently the word from Scotland is McLeish is ready to resign as Scotland boss.
