Seems like a good idea to me. You get both the senior squad and U-21 working together to ensure the best out of both and make joint effort to have a better squad in the future.

A great move. I've always liked Pearce as a player and as a manager. He's definately got the attitude and passion to succeed. If he feeds off Capello's knowledge and experience then I think he'll be a good candidate for an England manager in the future.

it makes sense to link the 2 together. Our reserves are basically our under 18 team, so Neil Banfield ( reserve manager ) and Steve Bould ( under 18's manager ) take the coaching almost as one, and the same with most games. It links in well with the first team, and the young players development.

Let's hope, as it should be, a successful step forward for the future of the England football team.
