Click on User CP then scroll down to Subscribed Threads. You'll be able to change your options there.

Just disable the subscriptions and you should be ok.

one more thing how do you get your badge of your team at the botterm of the page
because everyone else seems to have one

Well i just kinda guided ya to it. I used to be able to do it in Admin cp,but the thing has gone with all the different usergroup display settings.
