If you’re pushed for time, then all you need to remember is the numbers 33, 37 and 43. The first number guarantees relegation, the middle number gives you a better than even chance of survival, and the last number guarantees survival.
Simply Sunderland and Middlesbrough are down, yes not mathematically but its a near impossible task for either club to suddenly start winning games when they haven't been winning games that often all season. So the 3rd relegation spot will be fought out between Hull city and Swansea City and in my opinion, Hull will be the ones staying up, the side that spend next to nothing at the beginning of the season and had the smallest selection of players to choose from.
Middlesbrough have just imploded, we've went from having one of the best defences in the league under Karanka to letting goals fly in each week under Agnew. Sunderland don't look like scoring or winning another game in the league but I can guarantee they will beat Middlesbrough this week. Giving boro the claim of "strongest team in the league".
Hull - Remaining games:
Crystal Palace (A)
Swansea - Remaining games:
Manchester United (A)
West Brom (H)
I'd say Swansea have the hardest run in and I think they will end up going down with the two North East teams.
