    Karanka Sacked!

    About time too!!

Middlesbroughs-Alvaro-Negredo-looks-dejected-after-the-game.jpgMiddlesbrough have not produced anything this season and looking back at last season in the championship we only just managed to scrape automatic promotion. His tactics are all wrong. He didn't go out for attack, he had the team set up to defend. Yes that's a good start for any club but we needed to also attack and they just couldn't do it with the way he set the team out, playing Negrado up front alone never ever worked but he persisted with it.

We have been in woeful form and have slipped into the Premier League relegation zone, 2nd bottom. We are without a win in 10 Premier League games, with their last success coming back on December 17.

Karanka said: "I'd like to thank Middlesbrough for a wonderful opportunity and the players, staff and all the people at the club who I have worked with.

"I'd also like to thank the fans for their support. This club will always hold a special place for me and I wish everyone connected with Middlesbrough Football Club the very best for the future."

We have only scored 2 goals in the Premier League this year which is absolutely shocking! Our form is also pathetic and Winning 4, Drawing 10 and losing 13. Hopefully the players will now start to play as they have no excuse not to perform!

Karanka's departure was confirmed on Thursday morning ahead of the clash with Manchester United.

His final game in charge was the defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-final.

Steve Agnew will take temporary charge at the Riverside.
