Since I started My Football Forum back in 2002 I've been a strong fan of freedom of speech and this is still the case to this day! Over the past few months members have reported that posts have been deleted "going missing" or edited by members of staff. Some have been edited to stop further arguments amongst member of the forum during heated debated. This will continue to preserve the forums health and to prevent topics from going into further and further turmoil when members have disagreements. When a post is deleted or edited by a member of staff, the member will be informed as to why this has happened and for this not to happen again. Censorship needs to happen on some subjects, I don't want the forum full of hate speech, racist remarks as this is illegal in the UK and its not what I want the forums to be full of as this would potentially stop new members joining. We have to keep topics on topic, yes they do evolve over time but we have to stop topics from turning into mass arguments with insults flying everywhere. We are a very relaxed forum, a lot of insults and name calling is just brushed aside without any warnings being issued to members. From this post onward, please think about what your typing to one another and if your in a heated exchange with another member, take a few mins away from the forum before replying and calm down!!! Then reply, but think "would I say this to their face?" in real life?

Look my intentions were in the right place, fair enough I dragged a bit of the past up to make my point but the intention was to put the past in the past and move on for the good of the forum. Boro boy & Harold have this place running better than it ever has in my opinion and it doesn't need spoiling by me and you fighting every five minutes over rubbish that went on in the past. Sadly it doesn't seem you are capable of accepting what you did in the past or apologising for your actions. Whilst I'm more than happy to apologise to you for any shite I pulled.

    Today is the day

I turn 65. The wife has got banners up in the back room and on the windows of the front room to let the world know...along with red, white and blue (obviously) balloons floating in the back room. Lovely pressies have been kindly given & are very much appreciated. There is a wee tear in my eye. A birthday haircut then fry up later this morning....

What the **** is everyone up to

Sitting having a few drinks and listening to Frank Sinatra records in memory of my dad who passed 22 years ago today. He was fortunate to see Sinatra play twice once in 1953 when he played the Empire in Glasgow and once in 1990 when he played Ibrox. I was lucky enough to get tickets through a contact at Ibrox. To be fair Sinatra’s voice had gone by then but you could feel the awe in which people held the man he had a presence about him you could taste. So here’s to you dad

Results of week 21 of the super fun predictions fellow members, congratulations and thanks to all who have been able and willing to participate. Week 21 was always going to be the most uncertain game day for predictions. And before the so called 'snow brake' we certainly had our moments of excitement, desperation and exaltation. Take a look at this, who would have believed it : Celtic 12:30 Rangers 2 Hearts 14:00 Aberdeen X Livingston 15:00 Hibernian 1 Motherwell 15:00 Hamilton 2 St Johnstone 15:00 Ross County X St Mirren 15:00 Kilmarnock 1 A reminder of the standings after week 20 Dug 071 Hairy 063 Mak 055 Norm 053 SP 050 Boro Boy 038 Bastion 031 N°8 007 Week 21 results by participants SP 3 out of 6 Norm 1 out of 6 Dug 1 out of 6 N°8 did not participate Bastion 2 out of 6 Hairy 0 out of 6 Mak 2 out of 6 Boro Boy 1 out of 6 Standings after week 21 Dug 072 Hairy 063 Mak 057 Norm 054 SP 053 Boro Boy 039 Bastion 033 N°8 007 And the afters : Nikola Katic's towering header won a controversial Old Firm derby for Rangers and cut the gap to Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership to two points with a game in hand at the winter break. Hearts go into the winter break further adrift in the Scottish Premiership. St Mirren beat managerless Kilmarnock to claim a first win in four games and move six points clear of the bottom of the Scottish Premiership. Livingston will finish the year above Hibernian in fifth place in the Scottish Premiership after a brace from centre-back Jon Guthrie gave his side a 2-0 win at the Tony Macaroni Arena. Hamilton Academical stunned Lanarkshire rivals Motherwell at Fir Park to clinch their maiden Scottish Premiership away win this season. St Johnstone extended their unbeaten run in the Scottish Premiership to five games with a hard-fought draw against Ross County. See you next year lads

    Brexit not going very good?

Look across Europe and see the countries starting to unravel. Not just terrorism either. Recently a few hundred illegal African immigrants invaded a French tourist spot and demanded free housing, free this free that - which the French people themselves DON'T get nor ask for. But it's those making excuses for it even blaming the victims - who make damn sure those they defend are allowed nowhere near THEIR middle class estates. I used to happily call myself a socialist. That changed when I saw the ones dictating were no more "working class" than Theresa May. They were parasitic minorities. Entitled. Druggies. Expected OTHERS to pay for what they demanded and were purely oligarchic. Yes, the stinking undemocratic and openly FASCIST Remoaners keep shrieking its racism - they are still of the outdated "Say racist and you've won the argument" - no longer. The tidal wave of immigration's slow destruction of the NHS, council houses being taken away from our own people and given to people who shouldn't be here - etc etc etc - if it hadve come down to stay Brexit types would just have got on with it. Remoaners have thrown tantrums like a spoilt brat and kept delaying and delaying Brexit

When you think of British comedians in the 70s and 80s they didn't give a shit about making jokes about religion and it was fucking hilarious Now it's almost non existent especially Islam People are frightened to fart incase it upsets Islam Some of the funniest jokes are about Jesus,Islam and Catholic priests I remember my auntie's Chrimbo card every yr,the whole inside of it was all about Jesus dying and what Chrimbo was really about Fuck that,it was about being off work and getting fat and pished Then i read earlier that people are frightened to criticise Islam incase we have another Charlie Hebdo......WHAAAATTTTTTTTT? So we fucking pander?........do we fuck.......no religion is above humour or criticism And this is a huge fucking problem in the UK

    Rangers and the SPFL

hopefully this is the start of the end of the corrupt cabal in Scottish football https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/rangers-football-club-statement/ WE have been presented with evidence via a whistleblower that raises serious concerns surrounding the SPFL’s processes relating to its stewardship of the voting on the resolution presented to member Clubs. Rangers’ Interim Chairman, Douglas Park, attempted to discuss this evidence with SPFL chief executive, Neil Doncaster, who initially refused to do so. The SPFL followed up that call with an e-mail, which we believe was a thinly disguised attempt to silence legitimate concerns. Rangers will not be bullied into silence. We believe it is in the interests of all Scottish clubs and supporters that the evidence, which is alarming, be addressed as quickly as possible. The voting debacle and the evidence we possess raise serious questions concerning the corporate governance of the SPFL. Mr Park said: “The lack of leadership and responsibility from the SPFL as a members’ organisation has shocked me. If ever there was a time for complete openness and transparency, it is now. Crucial decisions are being made on the issues of promotion and relegation behind closed doors and without proper time for consideration or debate. “The farcical conduct of this affair seems to me to bring the corporate governance and business operations of the SPFL into sharp focus. It is an example of an undemocratic culture, which has existed within the SPFL for far too long. “As a member club, we are disturbed by the evidence that has been presented and feel there is no choice but to call for an independent investigation into this entire matter. Each member of the SPFL board has a duty to its members to ensure that such an investigation is instructed without delay. “All we ask for is equality and respect. In the past few days, we have become alarmed at a seeming lack of even-handedness and fair play from the SPFL. This is surely unacceptable and, if substantiated, must be remedied. “Other member clubs, who have seen the evidence we hold, share our concerns. “We call for the suspension of the SPFL’s Chief Executive, Neil Doncaster and its legal adviser, Rod McKenzie while an independent investigation is conducted.”

    Internet Forums.....

The problem with Fb, is every cunt knows you personally, so you are more likely to refrain from putting your thoughts online... Anonymity on a forum gives you a certain freedom to voice your genuine opinion, which provides 40+ males, maybe even white males a voice they are denied on other media.

I think this lock down has taught us, that people are thick cunts, who dont have the capacity to think about their own (their families) health..... so they ain't going to care about mine For that reason, as Folk are as thick and pig shit, with a thought process, it wont effect me..... I wouldn't be keen on attending. I could only imagine the queue to get in..... Honestly think my first outings will be to family and friends houses for catch ups and drinks when this is over..... crowded places will be put on hold.

Nah. This is the kind of shit that has put us in the position we are in. Years and years of dignified silence and bridge building Lawwell has way too much influence over all of Scottish football. Don’t take my word for it Stewart Milne has said it. Stuart Gilmour said it. Ex President of the SFA , whose name escapes, said it Celtic also have far too much influence within Scottish Media both Tv , Radio and especially the press. They pay hollicom (sp) a small fortune to plant positive Celtic stories , negative Rangers stories The main political party is absolutely anti Rangers and anti Unionist. Of course you get paranoid Tim’s. It’s in their DNA ffs! Knowing you have many many enemies is NOT paranoia when it is true

    Climate Change thread

A LETTER FROM A CONSTITUENT ABOUT HOW HE ADVISED HIS TEENAGE DAUGHTER ON ‘CLIMATE CHANGE’ Dear Craig, After our daughter of fifteen years of age was moved to tears by the speech of Greta Thunberg at the UN the other day, she became angry with our generation “who had been doing nothing for thirty years” So, we decided to help her prevent what the girl on TV announced of “massive eradication and the disappearance of entire ecosystems”. We are now committed to give our daughter a future again, by doing our part to help cool the planet four degrees. From now on she will go to school on a bicycle, because driving her by car costs fuel, and fuel puts emissions into the atmosphere. Of course it will be winter soon and then she will want to go by bus, but cycling through the freezing builds resilience. Of course, she is now asking for an electric bicycle, but we have shown her the devastation caused to the areas of the planet as a result of mining for the extraction of Lithium and other minerals used to make batteries for electric bicycles, so she will be pedaling, or walking. Which will not harm her, or the planet. We used to cycle and walk to school too. Since the girl on TV demanded “we need to get rid of our dependency on fossil fuels” and our daughter agreed with her, we have disconnected the heat vent in her room. The temperature is now dropping to twelve degrees in the evening, and will drop below freezing in the winter, we have promised to buy her an extra sweater, hat, tights, gloves and a blanket. For the same reason we have decided that from now on she only takes a cold shower. She will wash her clothes by hand, with a wooden washboard, because the washing machine is simply a power consumer and since the dryer uses natural gas, she will hang her clothes on the clothes line to dry, just like my parents and grandparents used to do. Speaking of clothes, the ones that she currently has are all synthetic, so made from petroleum. Therefore on Monday, we will bring all her designer clothing to the secondhand shop. We have found an eco store where the only clothing they sell is made from undyed and unbleached linen and jute. Also can’t have clothes made on wool, because the emissions from farting sheep are supposedly causing bad weather. It shouldn’t matter that it looks good on her, or that she is going to be laughed at, dressing in colorless, bland clothes and without a wireless bra, but that is the price she has to pay for the benefit of The Climate. Cotton is out of the question, as it comes from distant lands and pesticides are used for it. Very bad for the environment. We just saw on her Instagram that she’s pretty angry with us. This was not our intention. From now on, at 7 p.m. We will turn off the WiFi and we will only switch it on again the next day after dinner for two hours. In this way we will save on electricity, so she is not bothered by electro-stress and will be totally isolated from the outside world. This way, she can concentrate solely on her homework. At eleven o’clock in the evening we will pull the breaker to shut the power off to her room, so she knows that dark is really dark. That will save a lot of CO2. She will no longer be participating in winter sports to ski lodges and resorts, nor will she be going on anymore vacations with us, because our vacation destinations are practically inaccessible by bicycle. Since our daughter fully agrees with the girl on TV that the CO2 emissions and footprints of her great-grandparents are to blame for ‘killing our planet’, what all this simply means, is that she also has to live like her great-grandparents and they never had a holiday, a car or even a bicycle. We haven’t talked about the carbon footprint of food yet. Zero CO2 footprint means no meat, no fish and no poultry, but also no meat substitutes that are based on soy (after all, that grows in farmers fields, that use machinery to harvest the beans, trucks to transport to the processing plants, where more energy is used, then trucked to the packaging/canning plants, and trucked once again to the stores) and also no imported food, because that has a negative ecological effect. And absolutely no chocolate from Africa, no coffee from South America and no tea from Asia. Only homegrown potatoes, vegetables and fruit that have been grown in local cold soil, because greenhouses run on boilers, piped in CO2 and artificial light. Apparently, these things are also bad for The Climate. We will teach her how to grow her own food. Bread is still possible, but butter, milk, cheese and yogurt, cottage cheese and cream come from cows and they emit CO2. No more margarine and no oils will be used for the frying pan, because that fat is palm oil from plantations in Borneo where rain forests first grew. No ice cream in the summer. No soft drinks and no energy drinks, as the bubbles are CO2. We will also ban all plastic, because it comes from chemical factories. Everything made of steel and aluminum must also be removed. Have you ever seen the amount of energy a blast furnace consumes or an aluminum smelter? All bad for the climate! We will replace her memory foam pillow top mattress, with a jute bag filled with straw, with a horse hair pillow. And finally, she will no longer be using makeup, soap, shampoo, cream, lotion, conditioner, toothpaste and medication. Facewashers will all be linen, that she can wash by hand, with her wooden washboard, just like her female ancestors did before climate change made her angry at us for destroying her future. In this way we will help her to do her part to prevent mass extinction, water levels rising and the disappearance of entire ecosystems. If she truly believes she wants to walk the talk of the girl on TV, she will gladly accept and happily embrace her new way of life. Regards, (Name Withheld)

I agree with all of the above but as i said he at least got him out the club. Of course it was too little too late and for that he is guilty but there are others, Tommy Burns especially , who go under the radar as some among the Rangers support are too caught up in BJK. Stein is also photographed with Jimmy Saville and a Roman Catholic priest handing out some awards. The Priest in question was also done with abusing children and everyone knows about Saville. The Preist name is Father O'Connell. If you google Stein and Saville photo it is the first to come up. Sorry cant copy and paste. Celtic employees had close connections to Barry Bennell and all of this above has raised the question. Where these people acting alone oblivious of the others crimes or was it far more sinister than that? Billy McNeill admitted at Torbetts first court case that 'It was an open secret' at the club. As damning as it gets!! They knew, They all knew and allowed it to go unchecked as they were producing the players. Jock Stein is quoted as saying 'The good name of Celtic Football Club must be protected AT ALL COST'!!! This is what i will always remember and there is no way around this. Celtic as a club did not care about the children abused but wanted it kept quiet to protect the image of the club. Why are our politicians not wanting this looked into? Why did they actually rule out any public enquiry into this? Are votes more important than justice for the kids that were abused? One of the abused Kids has since taken his own life. His mother and sister have led a campaign for justice for their Brother/ son but have been blanked completely by our first minister and Celtic supporting justice minister. Why are the media running with this now? It has been an open secret since the 80s FFS!! There is talk that there are Non Disclosure agreements now in the hands of a certain newspaper and i am no legal expert but i have been told the NDAs are null and void if criminality can be proven. There has always been rumours a senior first team player of that time who went on to be an International was abused but he has so far refused to talk about. The rumour is this former player is now willing to speak out after the club refusing to apologise and claiming Celtic had nothing to do with this. Celtic have managed to avoid any public embarrassment as anyone who wanted it discussed was shouted down for 'point scoring over child abuse' ...I have in the past been told not to discuss this as its seen as point scoring. I can honestly say that has never been my intention. I would be even more outraged had this been Rangers. It is not the child abuse that appals me. Recent public enquiries have shown that this could happen anywhere and very few clubs have remained untouched. The difference between what we are seeing at Celtic is it appears to be an actual paedophile ring being allowed to operate at this club and the club protecting the offenders. If this can be proved i want all those responsible to be punished to the full extent of the law. I want the victims to receive the public apology they are crying out for and i want the victims to be compensated I also want to see the politicians who have tried to cover this up questioned. I want to see the media questioned on why this was allowed to go unreported for decades...literally decades!! Were Celtic threatening legal action? There is a clip from the Celtic View in the 1990s where the club statement says they will take people to court if they made any more scurrilous accusations against Torbett and Cairney. It looks to me as if the threat of legal action has silenced many. Hopefully they now will find the courage to speak out
