  1. Ansu Fati has good feelings with the new treatment he’s been following. If he continues with these sensations, he could avoid another surgery. He will travel to Seville on Friday with the rest of the squad for the Cup final. Ansu Fati this season before he got injured: 10 games 5 goals 2 assists 2 penalties won 2.1 key passes per 90 4 big chances created 2.6 successful dribbles per 90 1.5 tackles won per 90 18 years of age. Can't wait to see him back on the pitch.
  2. If there's one thing Barcelona have sorely missed at times this season, it's a lack of clinicity in front of goal. On several occasions the Catalans have seemed almost allergic to shooting when the opportunity presents itself. Many chances are gone, for the desire to oversimplify has so often had the exact opposite effect. And this is where Ansu Fati's absence is most lacking. The 18-year-old is one of Europe's highest-rated young wingers and started the season with five goals in ten appearances before a knee injury forced him to face Real Betis in November. The serious nature of the injury emerged hours after the game and it became apparent that he would need to have surgery to resolve the issue. This procedure was completed later in the month, and the initial prognosis was that he would be away for about four months. Ansu Fati hasn't played for Barcelona since November, but the club have received a big boost for their recovery from injury. He has already had surgery twice for the knee injury and there were concerns that he would have to go under the knife a third time due to the slow recovery process. Lately however, Barcelona appear to have received some positive news on the front of their recovery. Initially, Fati did not respond well to the biologic regeneration treatment presented to him by Dr Ramon Cugat, who also performed the first surgery on the winger under the supervision of the Barcelona medical team. Now, however, Dr Cugat continues to advise him as he finally takes steps in the right direction. He now works with light loads before initially making the transition to training with the rest of the team on the pitch. It still looks like the teenager, alongside midfielder Philippe Coutinho, who suffers from a similar knee injury, will not be able to return to action this season. This of course means that Fati now has plenty of time to recover and regain his fitness before hopefully joining the squad in the preseason. Now a fully-fledged Spain international, the Blaugrana are hopeful that Fati will return to action before the end of the current season.
