No doubt we will go back into another lockdown.

I thought the Vaccines where the way out.

You know when they bring it up before winter that its going to happen!

vax passports are coming soon. crazy thing is we are told that the vaccine does not stop people from getting covid or passing it on so whats the point in the passport.

It reduced your rosk of getting it doesn't it?

Also it massively reduces your chance or ending up in Hospital.

So everyone who is at the gigs, shouldn't end up in hostpital. If they let anti-vaxxers in, they would no doubt get it and end up in hospital taking up a bed.

but 95% of the people that go to these places are young and fit so not at as much risk. and the scientists have been saying for ages that double jabbed people can still catch it and spread it as much as non vaxed people. the covid passport will not stop the spread of the virus.

Summary from today Covid Brief, (I didn't know they were still doing this)

  1. Covid remains a risk, warns Boris Johnson, but says UK better placed to deal with it
  2. Johnson was setting out plan for tackling Covid over winter in a briefing with Chris Whitty and Sir Patrick Vallance
  3. Rollout of booster jab for over 50s and younger vulnerable adults to start next week
  4. PM adds he can't 'rule out completely' the possibility of mandating vaccine passports
  5. Mandatory face masks and working from home may be necessary if the NHS is overwhelmed
  6. UK reports 26,628 cases on Tuesday and 185 deaths within 28 days of a positive test
  7. Meanwhile, children aged 12 to 15 across the UK will be offered one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid jab, the government says
  8. Invitations for the vaccine will begin next week and parental consent will be sought for the programme, which is based in schools
  9. It follows advice from the UK's chief medical officers, who say the jab will help to reduce disruption to education
  10. Elsewhere, job vacancies have hit a record high as the economic recovery continues and the furlough scheme starts to wind down

can someone tell me why they expect cases to rise in the winter when most people spend more time indoors in the winter and they fight covid by making people stay indoors. 🤔

People visit other people and spend more time indoors with windows closed. I believe thats why the common cold is spread more during the colder, darker winter months.
