Got my house

Recommended Posts

Have received a letter from my solicitor today saying that the house has gone through and it is now mine.

Have lived there for 10 years and a nice generous discount from the council meant it became a no brainer

Approaching the half way point from when I brought it to when I can sell it.

The house was £82,500 with a £32,500 discount from the council. In that time we have not done anything to the house just kept it tidy and looked after it well. Anyway we had it valued last week and it is now worth £115,000 on the market!

crazy that it has shot up nearly £30K and we’ve done nothing to it.

I cannot wait to sell it and have a nice deposit to play with for our new home

My first house was ex-council and we made around 30k like yourself, good on you as well as you've filled their pockets for the last ten years.

We bought ours for £70,000 including discount and we sold it for £150,000 six years later. Laughing all the way to the bank.
