Heavily touted to be the next England boss. Thoughts?

It's a sad indication of the lack of quality English managers around when he's the favourite. Don't get me wrong, he's a good manager but he won't take us to the next level or have us playing good football.

The quality of that post is astounding. why not give him a go?? The football may not be the best to watch but hey ho. ever watched oirland?? They in an ugly way vastly over achieve.Their people love it. 100% total effort, Which is what fat Sam would give us.We are so much better than them, Imagine in we had the commitment too? Iceland game would never have been like that with fat Sam in charge.

Who's to say that his tactics and motivation styles will work on the players from top clubs like United, City, Liverpool, Spurs though? He's always worked well with teams battling relegation. As Moyes found out at United, working with a higher standard of players is a different kettle of fish completely

Very true. I wouldn't want this in my face..

Sunderland fans must be fuming. With a disrupted pre-season, I can only see them doing their usual routine of certain relegation candidates until Spring before playing like Barcelona for 2 months.

Personally I think we will win the World Cup with Sam in charge.

Is it a completely different kettle of fish because they don't listen because they think they are better than anyone and no one tells them what to do?
