Red Sauce/Ketchup!

Recommended Posts

Asda have started trialing keeping it in the fridges. Ive never kept any sauces in the fridge whether they've been opened or not.

Do you keep yours in the fridge or cupboard?

Parents used to keep it out of the fridge. My missus puts it in the fridge. I'm not bothered how it's kept either way.

Asda are owned by American giants Walmart.

All Americans keep ketchup in the fridge.

That is not relevant to this thread. how do you keep yours, You are not Walmart/Asda, or whatever corrupt corporate umbrella they live under.

It is relevant as I gave a reason as to why Asda might be going down that line of thinking.

Ketchup in the fridge is an American thing. Asda are American owned.

I am British, I keep mine in the cupboard, don't really give a shit what the Yank's do. ASDA being owned by another corrupt American corporation, gives me another reason not to shop there. Best thing to come out of America, is that Virgin plane to Gatwick, taking me home.

Is it ketchup or red sauce?

Depends who makes it/sells it, and how they name it, IE copyright etc. Not 100% sure, tho i think only 1 company  can actually call it Tomato Sauce. Feckin yanks calling it ketchup FFS.

Makes sense, As keeping it in the fridge, makes it thicker and much harder to pour. Not that Yank's have much in the way of sense tho.
