Most unusual thing

Recommended Posts

What has been the weirdest or most unusual thing you have ate and where abouts was it?

Mine is probably zebra in south africa a few years back.

Would definitely try it again!

For me is was Kangaroo from Walkabout, was very nice.

I don't really eat weird stuff, don't get me wrong, I do like to try new things but I like to try safe new things like new spices, or new fruit and veg. :)

I haven't tried anything unusual. I eat plain English. The thought of eating Zebra though turns my stomach.

It must surely be the same as eating any other animal?

Probably is but I still wouldn't like to eat a zebra lol

If all you see if the meat on your plate, all nicely cooked and garnished then most people would be okay.

If people watched the whole process from birth of the Zebra, to it growing up running on the fields, then being transported to be killed, watching it being slaughtered and chopped up, I think 80-90% of people wouldn't eat meat.

I personally thought it was delicious. Had snails myself and wont be trying them again thats for sure.

What else is lovely is a goat curry. Quite common in authentic indian restuarants up my area.
