The best bit for me was The Digbeth Kid and singing KRO in The Garrison Pub.

Happy memories of that place.

Got me and Mrs SA vip tickets for this, through a mate who does the lighting.

I also don't recall KRO being sung in the Garrison. It would have been strange and totally wrong if it was, as Peaky's was set after WW1, KRO came about on the Blues team bus on the way to the 1956 FA cup final v Man City, It was Alex Govan who sang it. That is in our folklore.

We have our Grandson a Peaky Blinders outfit for Christmas Day.

It is a shame dark forces keep buying him B6 stuff.

Season 4 started with a bang.

The New York Mafia are in town.

I can really relate to this show as my Great Great Grandad was an original Peaky Blinder.

Gave it a go, didn't enjoy it.

I'm sure it's a great series but I found it really slow to start with and that's never a good start.

It is pretty good, tho in all honesty, I doubt I would have ever bothered watching it, if it wasn't so hyped up in Birmingham. I not being a TV watching person, struggled with the first few episodes,(dodgy accents etc) then I got into it. I might even change my username to a peakies character, if I enjoy this series.

Still waiting!

Anyhow my thoughts after watching the first episode of the series is-

Xmas 1925. Blues played Spurs at Home on Christmas Day won 3-1 (Bradford hat trick) and Spurs Away on Boxing Day lost 2-1. You think one of them would have gone to the match.

Now back to that KRO in the Garrison.

I doubt they went to the match, but you probably did.

didn't watch the first 3 series when they initially were shown but watched them over a period of time & enjoyed it. just watched the last episode of last series & 1st of series 4. Gonna enjoy it apart from the accents at times.
