Yeah it's had all the services carried out. I never.miss a service as I require the car to get to work and back each week so I'm fucked without it and want to to be as reliable as possible.

It's just got over 90,000 miles.

Passed with 2 advisories.

When did the MOT get rid of the red paper for fail, orange for advisory and green for pass. All I got was a shitty white print off, its all online now though isn't it.

Ford's are ok. Why not splash the cash and get a Jaguar??

If not then go German,

I like the new Jaguars

Not changing this though as its the perfect car for me, cheap to run, a great cruiser and very reliable. 90,300 miles on the clock and running great. Watch me break down on Friday going from Portsmouth to Middlesbrough. :(

But you like Vauxhall?

I am a compulsive liar. Ford beats Vauxhall every day.

Vauxhall's and Ford's. like Japanese cars, are notorious for developing annoying little squeaks and rattle's after a few years. son's girlfriend has a 7 year old Audi A4, 160k miles. it still feels like a new car, every time I get in it.

This is what sets German cars apart.

Oh the built quality of the Insignia is okay, not the best, when I have the music on, the thing on the door that pops up when the doors are unlocked rattles and pisses me off, its the only rattle so not too bad. I like the layout of the Insignia with the 8" display, looks good compared to some shitty Merc ones where it looks like they have just stuck a tablet on the dash.

Not keen on the way Mercedes present the screen, the rest of it is pretty stunning tho, all lush leather, and soft touch materials. None of that horrible hard scratchy plastic. I feckin hate that stuff.

That's why Mercs cost a lot as the finishes are better. But I'm not too bothered about the plastic finish as thats all I've known, its all I can afford haha.

And reliable.

I will shove 300k up it no bother.

What? Miles? How?

I'd say all cars are reliable these days, even if you buy a cheap one, it will be reliable, the way engines are made with their tolerances, as long as you look after them and get them serviced, they will run for ever. Oh and obviously if you don't drive it like you've stolen it!!
