I'm going to be changing the forums default forum view to Fluid which will just show you a list of recent topics from all the forums.

This is apparently the best way to view the forums. You can, however, revert back to the original layout. If you do that though you will lose the latest topics widget as that is going to be removed. This should help with forum engagement (so the makers of the forum say).

Anyway, let me know what you think.

This is the button you need to change

The left button is default forum view

Middles button is a block view

Right button is the Fluid View

when are you doing this ? think it should be a good idea.

Shite idea, showing the latest posts is far better.

Can we have a poll, as to whether the members want to see the latest posts or not?

Remember we live in a democratic society. I voted leave the EU by the way.

it shows the latest posts....with the previous method you had to rake up and down the front page to find out what had been posted.

Yeah I changed it so people on mobile devices can see the members online too.

The only problem with this is I can't get into different forums on mobiles. I'm sure there will be a way.
