Phil Taylor - darts ? If you're including snooker as a sport, darts must also be included imo.

Darts, Snooker and Golf are games.

O Sullivan has had more players at the top of their game to contend with than Taylor did. Davies, Henry and Higgins.

Indeed. Cricket is a great day out.

Equally as talented and fit as footballers too.

Not a great fan of it TBH, but IMHO it is a sport.
My definition of a sport would include:
a) Requires physical skill, both gross and fine motor control
b) Requires mental agility
c) Ability to plan
d) The outcome is an incontrovertible score.
e) Requires endurance

I would argue that several so-called sports, such as Rhythmic Gymnastics, Ice dancing, and Synchronised swimming don't have point d)
The score is the opinion of judges.
Perhaps we could have a panel in football, a really long range goal counts as two goals, whereas a scruffy toe poke from the area is only a half.

In fact anything that has "style" points fails as a sport for me.

Whether they are considered sports or games is down to the individual's perspective. In fact Golf is an Olympic 'sport'.

As for players to contend with, Taylor has had Dennis Priestly, John Part, Raymond Van Barneveld, Adrian Lewis, James Wade, Gary Anderson, Michael Van Gerwen. All top players throughout Taylor's career.

Shows your ignorance.

Fast bowlers use enormous amounts of energy. And play for 7 hours a day!

Footballers are pansies in comparison.
