Hartlepool United crisis deepens as winding up order is issued over unpaid tax

Recommended Posts

Troubled Pools survival is thrown into doubt after High Court winding up order gives them March tax deadline. The troubled National League outfit have been given just six weeks to pay an outstanding tax bill of £48,000 or they could go bust.

The club is clearly being miss managed, maybe the players/staff could take a wage cut to make up the required money rather than the fans having to do this!

£48,000 is not a lot of tax to be paid, considering how much Amazon and Google don't pay!
