Not seen this on the MSM. The BBC is just going on about how worse off our farmers are going to be, that we will have no medicine, basically we're all going to die.

They seem, not unusually, to be cherry picking on who they interview....obviously those who are anti No Deal.

:flashing-lol:....had a good 4 years of it Norm but it came to an end when she started fucking about with a work colleague months before we were supposed to get married. Better it happened then than after. They got married but are divorced now....Karma!

The major problem with the EEC was that it was designed to subsidise french farmers; then like Topsy it just grew and grew!

If the UK relied totally on farmers then it might have been a fair deal, however..........................................

Does nobody know the history of this pernicious organisation?

I've certainly read numerous articles over the years but not as a specialist subject. I did read one lengthy article a while back which gave a summary of how it evolved.

Just watched BBC News there and pleased to see John Redwood put the female presenter (Martine somebody....lovely pair of tits btw) in her place....she interrupted him as he answered a question but he came back and said the 'I do know about business and economoics and I'm answering the question YOU asked ME!' Well said Mr Redwood.

Also....OJ Corbyn has written to the head of the Civil Service looking for assistance to stop No Deal. Well forgive me for stating the fucking obvious but THAT should be flung into file 13 when received because as every cunt and their dug knows the Civil Service is (meant to be) a politically impartial department & not the lackey of some trumped up terrorist sympathising, barrow boy! If any assistance is given by this Civil Service boss then his head should fucking roll! The measures are getting more desperate by the undemocratics!

the poison dwarf, John Bercow the Commons Speaker has been at some kind of show at the Edinburgh Fringe today....at the end of his stint he was asked if the Commons could stop Brexit/No deal....YES!!!! was his reply........no surprise there then as he, along with almost every other cunt MP who disagrees with democracy, have done their utmost to bomb leaving the EU....A shower of cunts!

Do I have a wrong impression of how the parliamentary system in the UK works?

AFAIK, the PM is not omnipotent. He/She cannot enact any legislation or implement any policy without the support of:-

a) The Cabinet
b) The Party
and most importantly
c) Parliament

So regardless of deal or no deal, it seems to me that the decision lies not with BJ, not with his cabinet, but with Parliament.

Or am I wrong?

Will Parliament ignore the vote of 51% of the electorate?
If so, what happens next?
Another case of "we , as the ruling class, know what is best for the country"?

Bear in mind that I am 100% behind a no deal Brexit, as I was against joining the EEC in 1972.
But fortunately the final decision will have little effect on me and other ex-pats.

We had this discussion about another 'once in a lifetime' separation referendum where I told you that permission had to be given by the PM and you wouldn't accept that even with quotes or links I posted. Now, did you hear the statement by John McDonnell the other day whilst in Edinburgh....he said if Labour were in government they wouldn't stand in the way of another one and that was the opinion of Jeremy Corbyn. As for other policy I would think it would be party policy (but that's just my opinion) and as for legislation....parliament.

Johnson and the Brexiteers in the Conservative party & whoever else outwith the Tories will try and get us out on 31/10/2019....that is their mission. The other party remainers within parliament will do their utmost to stop leaving with NO Deal....but you also have dummy spitters like Sturgeon who do not wish to leave the EU & will vote against ANYTHING to do with leaving.

If they (remainers) possibly can then YES, they will do everything in their power to ignore us, the voters. Listen Hairy, the public who voted leave have long since stopped being a relevance in this most important happening. It has become the property of the liberal elite who neither care nor consider us!

Firstly, if Brexit does not happen on 31/10/2019 then I'd imagine another extension would be applied for but who the fuck really knows. I'll give you an indication as to why those in parliament who voted a majority to trigger artlice 50 are now reneging on that.....What they have done is knocked back May's Withdrawal Agreement three times and they know that the EU said this deal will not be changed so they (the no leavers) are dependent on the EU standing firm and also they are hopeful that NO Deal can be stopped here by whatever means meaning that there is more chance of the entire process coming to an end which suits them down to the ground because................they DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE THE EU!

Or there could be a snap general election and the result of that would depend on the next step.
