That's a Given Hairy...... most people,  especially The Right of centre,  would agree

Let''s get it clear:
I have my views on this topic, and whether or not I am for or against makes no difference to the fact that I am quite happy to listen to or read the opinions of others  whether or not they agree with mine.
If we differ, then we differ. That does not make them scum nor cunts nor fuckwits.

Again you use these words when they were not used in the posts you quote.

I use those words since they have often cropped up in discussions on this topic.
This is not intended as a criticism of any member, merely as a tool to demonstrate the emotive comments that are often used in such discussions.
One again I must emphasise that I am not taking sides on this issue.

Once again you make it personal when it is not.
You totally miss the point, which is that everyone has the right to express an opinion without being labelled by some bigot.

What was it you said....not personal ?....lol.

I think it's best if you and I agree to differ, if only to spare the other members.

You are of course now welcome to have the last word.

In some cases it does Hairy,

Individual cases, not as a whole.

What is the Craic if the House of Lords says no?

I doubt very very much if these self thought entitled elitists even thought about questioning the resounding victory the government got in the Commons....the following is a c&p from the link

But now, peers are about to consider legislation that delivers what few of them will have really wanted: Brexit, under the terms agreed by Mr Johnson. The usual Remainer voices will have their say over the next few days, like Article 50 author and former civil servant Lord Kerr, with the key votes expected early next week.

Lords are likely to focus on two areas, seeking a provision on child refugees as demanded by Lord Dubs, and ensuring that Parliament can take a significant role in the coming trade talks. Ministers will know how to handle it if peers insist on the former, but the latter could be more troublesome, and so would undoubtedly prompt Tory MPs to vote again to strip out whatever right to meddle peers demand.

The House of Lords has not come out from the last few years of Brexit turbulence smelling of roses, as many voters have come to view it contemptuously as a retirement home for the Remainer elite. Peers have the perfect chance to make amends by showing they accept that the British people want to get Brexit, and Mr Johnson's deal, done. Arch-Remainers like Lord Adonis might see this as their last stand, but they can at least try to lose gracefully.

Simply,  because its possible

Indulge me, what would happen?

Well they are all remainers at heart but due to the Referendum result and the massive majority the conservative party got, they would be stupid to try and block anything. There would be uproar in the UK I think. Probably celebrations in Scotland, so they can celebrate staying in the EU, even though they all want independence :lolpan:.

But I can't see them stopping this now, its basically done and dusted! Well in my opinion.
