England warmed up nicely for this yesterday by thumping Wales.

Australia didn't do to bad against the All Blacks, thrashed them 47 - 26

Agreed, but I hear the referee ruined the game for NZ.

Read the match report on BBC, no mention of the referee, but he did send BARRET off just before half-time, might have influenced the outcome  but then again...

These are the the friendly "training" matches leading up to the World Cup and no one is going "all out", all the teams are afraid of injuries and so are looking to the ref's to condemn any so called "rough play".

I only hope it doesn't spoil the competition in Japan.

England will be victorious.

Only nation on this planet to win football and rugby world cup...Stick the cricket one in there too and it really does make England kinda good. :-)

There is a danger of the competition becoming a sanitised flop.
There will probably be records set for red and yellow cards.

I think England will win this.

Do you guys think any other nation will ever win football, cricket and rugby world cups?

Englands win in the world cup in 1966 is tainted. And you know it
