No disrespect to yourself for posting this Hairy but I care not a jot about the alleged ill conceived benefits of VAR....suffice to say I've made my feelings of dislike on a number of occasions and pray for the day that it is booted due to it becoming far too complicated, not used properly and complaints from teams/managers...anyway.....I happened to see Jamie Redknapp speaking after the Man City winner against Spurs was knocked off due to VAR enforcing an absolutely idiotic new rule regards handball. Redknapp said he is is supporter of VAR but the decision to rule out the goal was not correct. VAR also failed to award a penalty to Man City for a Spurs defender pulling a City player from here to eternity at a corner....it was as clear and obvious an error by the ref not to award it as you will see. And as for pundits agreeing/accepting that if someone is offside by a few millimeters thanks to VAR the a correct decision has been made. It will ruin the game mate.

PS....hope the fans in the stadiums accept it as easily as the pundits....

Posted it to open up a discussion mate.
As always I try to see the pros and cons and so far it's 50/50.
Th one positive is that it may silence twats like the Lemon and the Septic mob who are always claiming that masonic refs are doing them down.
