Some of the parking areas people use for St Andrews are within the clean air zone and so if you have a dirty stinking filthy polluting car, you will have to pay to go into the zone to park.

Details here to check if you have a dirty stinking filthy polluting car (in the eyes of the council anyway).

There is supposed to an exemption for 1 year form coming out soon if you drive to work within the zone and earn less than £30k. If you're eligible keep an eye on the below link which will have the form up soon apparently.

Drive it like you stole it.

I usually do on my way home.

Been talking with a mate about this, here are some of his replies-

So £8 a day from July for me to drive to work- Wtf?

I said- Daysaver on the bus is £4.

His response-Bus service has just been cut where I am

Its a 30 min drive versus a combination of cycling, busses trains and more busses taking 2 and a half hours.

I can't respond to that.
