29th February- QPR away.

Recommended Posts

Given that we play QPR on the extra day for a leap year, Feb 29, I was wondering what our record is like on that day? Taking the positives, the last time we played in London on that day we won, and we haven’t lost on that day since 1960 and not away since 1908! The last time we played that day was that Roger Wiseman Stoke game in 1992.
In full the record is:
1896 beat Blackburn 2-1 at home
1908 lost to Man United 1-0 away
1936 beat Brentford 1-0 away
1960 lost to Spurs 2-1 at home
1980 beat Swansea 1-0 at home
1992 drew with Stoke 1-1 at home

Finished 2-2 yet another draw for you lot.

I love the fight our team shows, every man 100% every game. Can't ask for more than that as a fan. 15 unbeaten now too.

The injury to Bela doesn't look good tho.

Oh and btw, yet again another bad ref decision against us. 100% penalty near the end for the tackle on Hogan, not given. Even Stevie Wonder called it as a pen.

But every club has these decisions going against them too. Its not just Birmingham getting the bad decisions.

We just have more than our fair share. IE, Jukes goal being disallowed V your lot. Their was 100% no offside as replays have proven, the halt in play was caused by your staff running on the pitch, goal should have stood, and them lot should have been booked for encroachment. Head injury my feckin arse, guy fell and brushed very lightly against Judes arm on the way down. And i mean very lightly.

Boro away - disallowed goal when their staff ran on the pitch to stop play
Leeds home - corner given when it was a clear goal kick which led to their winning goal
Derby away - dodgy pen given against
Brentford at home - no penalty given from blatant hand ball
Cardiff away - dodgy pen given against
Barnsley away - Bela was fouled no penalty given
Fulham home - Mitrovic should of been sent off, he then went on to score winning them the game
Preston home - blatant hand ball in penalty area not given
Stoke home - very clear penalty on Gimenez not given

Probably a lot more as well

Last Saturday. Bannan had already been booked when in last minute we had a free kick and he blatently kicked the ball away "in front of the ref" and.... nothing! Not even a word with Bannan. Blues player done that 100% red card

I am also of the opinion that the increasingly poor standard of refereeing favours the teams who cheat the most.

Just an opinion.
