To be fair to him was he talking about his child or someone he needed to get back? It's not great but this whole calling people out over the clap thing is a bit stupid, I was in Tesco tonight and people were clapping and I joined in but others were bobbing about and nobody really judged them. No issue with folk who do, it's nice if they want to show their appreciation, But this still looks like an own goal to me, all he had to do was stand for 1 minute, not speak, then go in.....
