What industries will be the worst effected by the virus?

Recommended Posts

Now we are in the recovery stage of the virus we're seeing industries put safety measures in place to keep staff and the publics health safe to keep businesses going.

Having said that how on earth can some places social distance safely, I was having a discussion today and we listed about four different industries that could be destroyed by this.

1. Theater, Cinema and concerts

2. Theme parks

3. Trafford centre (or any other huge indoor shopping centre)

4. Nightclubs

All of these things involve a large amount of people packed into one place mixing closely, I know the Trafford centre could social distance but given I live in Manchester I know the numbers of people that go in that place and on a weekend it can be so overbearing and stressful as you are so crammed in.

As for Theme parks how on earth do Alton Towers make a 1 hour queue social distance, they will be queueing all over the bloody park as this usually involved hundreds if not thousands of people closely pressed together in cramped passageways.

Nightclubs, they simply can't work under the current terms and I don't see how a concert or other entertainment event can happen with a full attendance.

All industries will recover once a vaccine is found.

I believe construction and car manufacturers will be hit hardest.

How is construction going to be hit?

Do you think they will just stop building things because of a virus?

Honestly try harder, I'm back at work next week pal.
