If you like old planes, and world war two planes, the Imperial war museum at Duxford is for you.  Its got the first ever Concord, Spitfires, a Lancaster,  an American hangar,  a operations room used in ww2,  a tank museum, and loads of other things.  Look it up on the internet, a day wont be enough.  Theres an old nuclear bomb.

 

There is a restaurant, not a good one though, as well as repair shops rebuilding ancient ww2 planes.

Jusr had a butcher's.....i would love to see that place someday...brilliant

That came into my head....must be near 40 yrs since i was last there.....must get back to it

I enjoy it as you can get on the old trolley buses and trains etc.....
