A few afters

Full time Buddies Tims 1 - 2

Full time Tims Livvy 3 - 2

Full time D Utd Buddies 2 - 1

What did they say?

Dundee United manager Micky Mellon:
Lawrence Shankland is "Scotland's number nine" says manager Micky Mellon after the Dundee United striker scored his first Scottish Premiership goal in the win over 10-man St Mirren.

"I think in the second half we played some unbelievable football. The one-touch football, the amount of chances that we had, I think we have to say that we deserved the win."

Man of the match

image.jpeg.bb788b4fde6a00bf6749d3ef42808789.jpeg

Dundee United's Logan Chalmers was a menace on the right hand side, and unlucky not to score with a fine run and shot

St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin:
"I thought in the first half everything was going according to plan up until the corner, and Lawrence Shankland was given far too much time and space in the box. Up until the goal I felt we were the better team. The second half, for whatever reason, we became far too disjointed."

What's next?

Dundee United travel to Hamilton, while St Mirren host Kilmarnock.

Full time Killie Hamilton 2 - 1

What they said

Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer:
"They were outstanding to a man, they were great, every single one of them.
"Especially because we went down to 10 men. They were brilliant, I can't praise them enough. I'm just so proud of them. Everyone put a shift in, even the substitutes that came on."

Man of the match

image.jpeg.dc13f2ce328d1bea2afca165cebf515f.jpeg

Despite not getting on the scoresheet himself, Chris Burke provided a stunning assist for Kilmarnock's opening goal and was instrumental in their victory .

Hamilton head coach Brian Rice:
Says he "expected more" from his side in their 2-1 Scottish Premiership loss to 10-man Kilmarnock.
"No excuses, credit to Kilmarnock, Alex and his team. We never did enough to win the game.
"I don't even know if we did enough to get a point. I expect more when we're up against ten men."

St Johnstone Ross County 0 - 1

What they said

St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson:
"First half I thought we dominated the game, so to go in 1-0 down was hard to take. I thought we had a go second half, they gave it everything to try and get that goal. But unfortunately when you lose that first goal, it makes it very difficult."

Ross County manager Stuart Kettlewell:
Ross County's win at St Johnstone - which ended a winless run of five games - is "massive boost" ahead of a tough run of fixtures, says boss Stuart Kettlewell.
"Really disappointed with the goals we lost last week [in the 5-0 loss to Celtic], and it was the complete opposite to what we got today. The way we defended our penalty box, we had a solid shape throughout the game, we had spells where we looked very comfortable, and I'm just delighted to come away with the three points and the clean sheet."

Man of the match

image.jpeg.c557bd6c1cea35ccb5b6dee1734dbf65.jpeg

Vigurs showed his experience with a dominant, battling performance in the middle of the pitch, and his goal proved decisive.

Full time Hibs Rangers 2 - 2

What they said

Hibernian head coach Jack Ross:
"To show so many sides of our game and take something from it is really pleasing.
"I've got a group of players who are satisfied but they wanted to win the match. They are recognising that they are a good side. Belief is growing all the time."

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard on Sky Sports:
Rangers will not "overreact or get too frustrated" despite being held to a gripping 2-2 draw by Hibernian, says boss Steven Gerrard.
"Going forward, I liked a lot about our play today. But to concede two goals is poor from us. I'm disappointed in the manner we've conceded the two goals but we've done enough going forward to win the game."

Man of the match - Ianis Hagi

image.jpeg.c0891879331472db575b5ed49defa619.jpeg
Hagi was at the heart of much of Rangers' incisive attacking play, teeing up Arfield for the second goal

Full time Sheep Well 0 - 3

What they said

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes:
"Motherwell were by far the better side. I thought they looked the hungrier team. I thought they looked like a team ready to win points and we looked like a team just out to play a game of fitba. We were well beaten."

Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson:
Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson believes his side has "turned a corner" as they produced their best performance of the Scottish Premiership season to hammer in-form Aberdeen.
"The difference today between some of the other games this season was that we were clinical. We've played some really good stuff but we took our chances when they came. We've won four out of five now but we'll just keep quietly going about our business."

Man of the match

image.jpeg.d895796651567f094060ac9949248ffe.jpeg

It's easy to pick out Allan Campbell, the heartbeat of this Motherwell side, but his energy and quality made Aberdeen's midfield look pedestrian. He had the most touches of any of his team-mates and made the most tackles and interceptions of anyone on the pitch.
