Impartial ? My Arse!

Read something this morning that I hadn't thought about at the time or in the aftermath of the Old Firm game.....but ye know what ? The guy that highlighted this is spot on!

Go back to last September after our home game against Dundee Utd...

Rangers say they have been left "bemused" by the "bizarre" charge after boss Steven Gerrard received a notice of complaint from the Scottish FA for comments about a challenge on Alfredo Morelos.

Without referring to Edwards, Gerrard said after the match: "I don't want to make headlines and say a kid should have got this or that, don't want to be that type of manager.

"But I'd be very interested to see what the decision would've been from the officials had the shoe been on the other foot and Alfredo had made that tackle."

Although the SFA did not clarify which comment led to the charge, Gerrard has been accused of breaching rule 72, which stipulates that managers - as well as other players and staff - cannot "indicate bias or incompetence" regarding match officials during interviews.

Now fast forward to the Old Firm game on 2/1/21

But Lennon is staying positive and insists Celtic will not stop fighting for Premiership glory despite his anger towards Madden.

He said: "I'm bitterly disappointed.

"The referee has made the wrong decision and it's changed the course of the game.

"It's not a sending off, it's a foul, we've got Ajer coming in on the cover and Morelos is in a wide position.

"It's not a clear and obvious goalscoring opportunity - he might get a shot off but he's certainly not clear through on goal.

"I think he (Madden) was too quick to get the red card out. I'm bitterly disappointed and really proud of the performance.

"We've been done by a pretty poor refereeing decision, I don't think he was great all day.

Disciplinary Rule 72

No recognised football body, club, official, Team Official or other member of Team Staff, player or other person under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA, shall in an interview, a 'blog' on the internet, on a social networking or micro-blogging site, or in any other manner calculated or likely to lead to publicity (i) criticise the Decision(s) and/or performance(s) of any or all match official(s) in such a way as to indicate bias or incompetence on the part of such match official; or (ii) make remarks about such match official(s) which impinge on his character. For the avoidance of doubt this Rule applies (i) whether reported to the Scottish FA by a match official for Misconduct or otherwise, and (ii) where remarks are brought to the Scottish FA's attention, or of which the Scottish FA becomes aware, by whatever manner or means. There shall be a presumption that any material published in such manner was published in the name of and/or with the authority of the person or body bearing to have published the material.

So in short, no member of the SFA has been made aware, become aware of these comments made by Lennon regards Bobby Madden ? Have their heads been buried so fucking deep in the sand or as we all know there are other forces at work ? Corrupt to the fucking core!

  • 3 weeks later...

Taken from 4 Lads had a dream....pertinent and interesting. Part of it was mentioned by me in the OP....total silence from Doncaster's bunker still...corrupt to the fucking core.

Meanwhile over the other side of Glasgow a mini meltdown, again, has ensued.

The arrogance of a club who has been given everything on a plate for ten years is now shining through.

Bullying? Don’t make me laugh

We have a governing body who go out their way to protect and cover things up for that club.

Ask yourself this; just where is the compliance officer? We know Clare Whyte is due to quit but does that mean it’s just a free for all?

Neil Lennon’s post match referee rant after the Old Firm has been conveniently swept under the carpet. We were told Edouard’s Dundee United assault couldn’t be answered because the offices were shut over the festivities, well they are open now and where have they been?

That’s not to mention the laughable outburst from the other day?

The sense of entitlement is unbelievable. The Government have basically asked the bumbling offices of Hampden to look into their actions and still they have been ignored.

It is absolutely no coincidence that ‘Null and void’ chat started after Peter’s embarrassing apology was slated by everyone. Out comes Doncaster in the Record to cover up his masters embarrassment.

Does anyone think that Sky, who made it clear wouldn’t financially help the EPL last year in such an event, would suddenly facilitate a Null and void event here in this game? No they wouldn’t and such an event would crush our game. Doncaster was acting on orders like the puppet he is, it’s not even remotely a likely outcome.

The truth of the matter is this governing body is full of placemen and people not interested in doing their jobs unless it suits their master.

I have no sympathy for the Kilmarnock’s and St Johnstone’s of our league who are now pleading for help or being publicly criticised. You were only pawns in a game last March and you were warned well in advance.

In fact this club warned you all and offered to pay for an independent investigation. I wonder how many lower league clubs, who have been well screwed over to cover for the actions of one club and their selfish trip to Dubai, would change their tune?

You reap what you sow and you were all warned.

Rangers, get your foot down and bring this title home, it may just be the sweetest one.
